The Club provides quality out of school care and a brilliant holiday club in Whitburn and Bathgate for children and young people aged four to 14 years.

Here’s a little more about our out of school club…

Who we are

At The Club, Whitburn, we focus on engaging young people through play, with a strong emphasis on the outdoors, all designed to spark curiosity and imagination.

We pick up from four local schools in the Whitburn/Bathgate, including Whitdale Primary, Croftmalloch Primary, Polkemmet Primary and St Joseph’s Primary and can offer ad hoc sessions for parents and carers requiring childcare. 

Young people at The Club can enjoy a range of activities and open play opportunities, in our vibrant setting which includes a bespoke creative space, and areas to relax and socialise.

Our brilliant team each bring a wealth of experience to the club, and set up fun daily activities, often inspired by ideas from our young people, from messy play to woodwork. 

We also enjoy lots of fun and fresh air with trips to local parks and green spaces, and our young people also engage in forestry school activities at nearby Polkemmet Country Park. 

Our own kitchen means we’re able to provide healthy snacks for those attending after school, as well as a two-course lunch on a Friday and the young people benefit from being able to hone their culinary skills. 

We also run a holiday club which allows us to extend the fun all year round and gives relief to parents and carers with work commitments. Our holiday club spans full days from 7.30am to 6pm, and provides young people with even more opportunities to play, learn and explore.
